Michele is a multitasking sailor. He has been a bowman, pitman, boat captain, trimmer, and rigger. He held all these roles,during his career in match races, windward-leeward, and offshore races. He's been a world champion seven times in Maxi, Maxi72, and RC44 classes. In 2009 he won the Louis Vuitton Trophy – Nice onboard Azzurra. And in 2021, he won the Prada Cup with Luna Rossa Challenge as Boat Captain. He is from Genoa and is a true sea lover, as soon as he has a chance, he will go spearfish in apnea.
